How Longevitmy Handles Your Health Data
Privacy is an architecture decision, not a paragraph in a policy. Here is exactly how the app treats your data.
Quick answer
Longevitmy is a privacy-focused wellness app. Your daily health data (habits, scores, supplements, meals) is stored on your device. Health records are not kept in the app's server database. When you request an AI analysis, the request contains the document image and optional age/supplement context — never your name, email or user ID. Health data is never sold and never used for advertising.
The three design rules
- Keep health data on the device. Your daily metrics live in your phone's secure storage, not on our servers.
- Keep the server minimal. Our database holds authentication (email) and operational counters — no biomarker values, no lab images, no health records.
- De-identify AI requests. Analysis calls carry the document and optional age/supplement context only. Your identity is never part of the prompt.
Apple Health
Connecting Apple Health is optional and read-only (steps, sleep, heart rate, HRV, active energy). Longevitmy never writes to Apple Health, and you can use every feature without connecting it.
What we can still improve
We maintain a standing review of retention windows with our AI providers and continue tightening server-side limits. Questions or requests: privacy@bygollc.com. Full details: Privacy Policy.

- It never replaces your doctor or a qualified healthcare professional
Frequently asked questions
Where is my health data stored?
Daily wellness data — habits, scores, supplements, meals, water — persists on your device in secure storage. The server database stores your account email and non-health operational records (such as usage counters), not your health data.
What happens when I upload a blood test?
The image is transmitted encrypted (TLS) to AI partners solely to perform the analysis — Anthropic for blood panels, OpenAI for meal photos. Requests are de-identified: no name, email or user ID is attached. Per our providers' API terms, submitted data is not used to train their models.
Do you sell health data or show ads?
No. Longevitmy contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and health data is never sold or shared for marketing.
Can I delete my data?
Yes — Profile → Delete Account removes your account, and on-device data is deleted with the app. You can also contact privacy@bygollc.com.
